Central Evaluation Workstation (CVP)

The central evaluation workstation controls and constantly monitors the status of the whole system. Up to 64 radio stations can normally be integrated into one system. For easy control and simple overview of the system, the workstation is equipped with a computer with controlling software that clearly and graphically displays the building as well as the status and position of the individual guards and allows the system to be controlled easily and intuitively. The RGS system’s mobile evaluation workstation, including the software, is identical to the one that is used by the RSS mobile security system for the protection of areas and buildings. It is possible to operate both the RGS and RSS systems on one CVP workstation simultaneously. The system uses a Motorola GM340 base radio station with a radio modem for communication with the portable radio stations. The system continually monitors the operational status of the individual radio stations with the continuous control of the radio communication (the level of the signals from the radio stations and the detection of the interference of the radio channel used) being carried out. An alarm is raised in the event of the detection of a security incident, technical malfunction or specific system event in the system. All events in the system are recorded in the system log of the hardware component of the CVP (with a capacity of approximately 10,000 events) where this information is stored even if the power supply fails. The number of records when using the PC is practically unlimited.

It is possible to connect an external antenna or antennae array system using standard connectors.

The power supply of the workstation is from a standard 230 V AC power network. The mobile version is powered through an external power supply and recharger or from external 12 V DC batteries or a vehicle connection. It is also possible to use internal batteries for the completely autonomous operation of the mobile workstation, including powering the notebook.
